Every wedding cake begins with a conversation. I take the time to get to know you, your wedding plans and the details that make your celebration unique. Whether you have a clear vision in mind or are looking for guidance and inspiration, I work closely with you to create a design that reflects your personal style and complements your day perfectly.
Drawing inspiration from your venue, colour palette, floral arrangements, stationery and overall wedding aesthetic, I carefully develop a bespoke design tailored specifically to you. No two couples are the same, and I believe no two wedding cakes should be either.
Timeline
Initial Consultation
Online or in person, we will discuss ideas and your wedding details to get an overall picture of your vision. We will discuss size, colour schemes, and finishes that you are drawn to. We will discuss your budget and I will ensure that any ideas or suggestions are tailored to this.
Design approval
Following the consultation I will provide you with a sketch (or sometimes 2 or 3) for you to approve. These will also come with an estimated price for your design. When you have approved your design the deposit will be requested to secure the date. Don't worry though, we can still tweak ideas until a month before your wedding date. A tasting box will be provided as part of the service.
Creating your cake
Once the design has been finalised, I begin bringing your cake to life. My signature sugar flowers are handcrafted petal by petal, with each bloom carefully created to complement the design and add elegance, texture and artistry.
Delivery and set up
On the morning of your wedding I will deliver your cake and set it up in time for your wedding reception. If necessary I will liaise with your venue to discuss this - all you need to do is relax and enjoy the day.
