Planning your cake

The best time to order your wedding cake is when you have a clear idea of your venue, colour scheme and rough guest numbers.

This way we can ensure your design matches your vision, and caters for the right amount of people. It doesn't matter if these details change or need tweaking along the way, but it gives us somewhere to start.

A 10% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance will be due 3 weeks prior to your wedding day.

If there are any changes to your cake between the design stage and balance due date, this will be agreed with you and reflected in your final balance payment.

After the final balance has been paid no further changes to your cake can be made. 

Designing your cake should be fun! Whether you have a clear idea of what you like, or haven't got a clue, we will explore the different options from textures, colours, decoration, shapes and sizes.

If you would like to try some samples these can be posted to you - if you have booked your wedding cake with me these are included in the price. 

I will send you a courtesy email around a week before your wedding date for reassurance. On the morning of your wedding I will deliver and set up the cake in plenty of time. If you have any toppers or other decorative pieces for the cake we will arrange for you to leave them at the venue reception for me to collect.
